Wow food was delicious and hot. Friendly staff always checking if we were ok. I will be going back again

I love curry. However, my problem is I love hot ones. Unfortunately, I can’t take them anymore, so I avoid Indian restaurants. However, I had a business meeting on Wednesday, and our group decided curry was the preferred cuisine. Bollywood's was the choice as it was local. The restaurant has had a revamp recently. We arrived, and we were greeted by the host, who offered us a drink. At the table, the staff made sure our ice buckets and drinks were consistently chilled We decided to sample some of the signature dishes. Bollywood’s, Mixed meat platter, Sizzling chicken Nawabi, Jumbo Tandoori king prawns Champe Bollywood’s lamb chops, Salmon tikka masala, Chicken tikka jalfrezi, Bollywood’s Bash (Super jumbo king prawns) I can’t fault the evening; the host and staff constantly checked on us. We were offered drinks coffee on the house. Overall, the food was excellent, the staff were attentive, and the host paced the room, checking on all the customers. It was a busy night food arrived on time table was clean wiped for the second course, a good mixture again. It was.a pleasant atmosphere staff were attentive and the host ensured we wanted nothing.

Really bad experience the food was extremely poor. The menu was clearly written by someone with food knowledge but executed with no care whatsoever. The special biriyani was tasteless, more or a rice stir fry, in fairness the accompanying veg curry was the only decent dish, the monkfish curry I ordered was frozen, reheated and texture like mush. What annoyed me the most was the attitude of the staff, I had clearly not touched the fish, when I explained why, they tried to justify it didn’t bother to offer a discount or a refund. A terrible all round experience.

Food wasn’t the best, send it back a few times. wasn’t catered to properly, and overly priced. won’t be returning again.
