Bert's Bistro At The Fingerpost

Heard some good reports so thought would give it a try was very impressed. Excellent food and very good value, home cooked. Not a huge menu but something for everyone. Couple that run it are very friendly. Will definitely go again.

Nice to eat in a non-chain pub!! Terrific choice of well cooked food with big portions . Very well kept beer and thoroughly nice people in charge . I hope they do well Will definitely return

First visit back to The Fingerpost Pub Pelsall since it changed hands. What an improvement. Very warm welcome, excellent food, dog friendly. Twyla was very pleased to have fresh water brought to her and settled really well she really likes it on the decking. The lunch menu is slimmed down from before but still has plenty of choice. We tried the pasta and the fish and chips. Good size portions and cooked fresh very yummy in deed. We certainly can recommend and will be coming back.

Warm friendly welcome, staff where very helpful and pleasant, food was absolutely beautiful, homemade lasagne was the best we've ever tried , chunky chips and homemade onion rings where delicious, this was our first visit for food ,definitely will be going again ,full marks from us

Arrived this evening 7:30 table booked. Left at 8:20pm 40 mins later as no one at this point had even taken our order. People on the table in front had waited an Hour half for their starters. Not at all Good. It was as though we weren't even there.
