Bidra med feedbackIn Safeway strip mall (newer area along Oak Grove). Burrito chain comparable to Chipotle but the tortillas are pressed and cooked for your order in front of you. The ingredients are mixed right before its wrapped. Fresh salsas and guacamole. I tend to get Carnitas but their Chicken with the corn salsa...very good! Regular burrito less than $7. This store was clean and well kept.
I like it better than chipotle. Especially the tortilla. Looks like a rebranded chipotle. I don't know why but it tastes better. Worth a try!
This chain originated in Iowa City, IA about 20 years ago, and is pretty common in the Midwest. Similar to other chain burrito restaurants, except their tortillas are handmade and pressed in front of you when you order. Burritos are fantastic, quesadillas are pretty good except I'd wish they were a little larger. They're usually very good about mixing the ingredients in the burritos so you don't get a clump of just beans. Highly recommend.
The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was pretty good, we had shrimp tacos and steak tacos. My only complaint is that the chips were super salty- I usually add salt but these were already so salty it was hard to eat very many.
Better than Chipotle! Especially if you like having the various ingredients of your burrito all mixed well, rather than in separate spots throughout.
