Bidra med feedbackFirst impression! When I got there, the stench of pee and the homeless camping out front. Just bad for business point blank... nothing against the homeless.
Uncle Steve and the rest of the staff were wonderful, very welcoming! Clean, homey type eatery. My first time there and I came at end of lunch line service, so they made me a mix plate to taste a little of everything! It is all Awesome! A Great Hole in the Wall Hidden Gem! A must try! My new favorite spot for some local grinds with lots of Aloha!
We had some Fried Manapua from here today and was not disappointed! Quality food with amazing service (Thank you Jin) Would recommend it to everyone.
My favorite GAUGEE. LOVE their Baked charsiu bau. Although I'm used to traditional glaze. Pork Hash shumai pretty big , flavor 3.5/5 Boss knows how to manage a full house by himself while taking care of pre-orders at same time. Only him in morning. Gave complimentary mandoo melon and another) to try.
I went about 12p. I ordered: STEAMED MANAPUA, smallest I've ever had..3 in diameter. Powdery bottoming like the texture of the bread and the Char siu is equal amount to bread. The filling has a gritty texture with a little more fat. PORK HASH, the wrap is on the thick side and the filling is also tough but good amount of flavor. RICE CAKE, a little soft and a little too sweet FRIED CUSTARD BAO, nice texture but too sweet
