Bidra med feedbackI'm glad I didn't read the reviews before going. We were actually going to the Bistro at the theater across the shopping center, but left there due to an unpleasant server. After eating resort/local for the past week, we felt like Italian. It was around 5:30 on a weekday, and not very crowded. After we were seated, people started showing up, and when we left, it was pretty packed. Our server, Kitty, was great. Made awesome, knowledgeable suggestions. Sorry no photos, but I
Its was almost empty at dinner time and now I can understand why. Got served salad before the soup. Ordered cocktail and after almost 30 min got notified they are out of ingredients. Chicken parmigiana was just average. Tomato basil soup and kids menu item were nice. Would not recommend.
The food is good and plentiful. The prices are normally outrageous for this area. They are very short staffed, so expect to wait 45 minutes for a table. The hours are actually 3 pm 9 pm every day due to staffing.
I had read the reviews prior to ordering here. I thought maybe people were just picky so I gave it a chance. The restaurant was empty, so I assumed my order would have been cooked properly. I was very wrong. My bruschetta had NO Basil, it was literally just diced tomatoes. In addition, my brussel sprouts were completly burnt black. I tried eating them but my family couldn't stomach the burnt taste. When you call, it just goes to voicemail. I paid $21 for the brussel sprouts
Food was ok, service took forever. We checked in at 330pm and had to ask for our entrees to go at 530, didn't get them until almost 550pm, then had race to the airport for our flight back to Honolulu. Kids food came out very quickly, appetizers were very good, though portions were small for price. Not an offer to discount or anything. Just a half hearted apology from a hostess no manager. Really expensive meal for substandard service.
