Bidra med feedbackThe 1st thing I noticed is that there were 4 people behind the counter for check-in. It went very smooth and very fast. The next thing I noticed is when you get in the elevators they smell clean and fresh. For years these elevators always had a peculiar smell. The rooms were standard rooms and were very clean. The room had a coffee maker, a, a Mini refrigerator, dresser drawers, comma a large TV, E, desk, And a couple of upholstery chairs. The pool area was nice and clean, and there was plenty of parking. The breakfast included omelets or eggs anyway you wish, and a small choice of other hot food. The breakfast seemed to be hit-or-miss on service. The 1st day I waited about 10 minutes and had 3 tables come up in comment that this was horrible service the 2nd day the people couldn't move fast enough or do enough. I believe the 1st day they were having some type of kitchen meeting. Note to the food and beverage manager or chef, have the meeting when you're not trying to serve breakfast. 5 people from 3 tables convenient to me about how horrible the service was because nobody was out there to help. A gentleman from another table even got up went to the back and banged on the door and then went back to his table. I have not said a word. But somebody came out from the back looked around and then went straight back to the meeting. If this is the worst thing that can happen is I have to wait 10 minutes to get served it's not the end of the world but it doesn't show oh a 5 star rating which I think the hotel is made great strides to earn with good food in the evening and other amenities
Service is really slow and unprofessional. The team just lacks leadership and training. The simplest things that are asked no one has an answer for. No recognition of Gold status, not even a welcome. The team is nice but nice isn’t always enough. Food in restaurant is better than expected. Property is really old and needs a tremendous makeover. Not much in Waco from a hotel stand point, but a tent might be better…
They do offer a coffee station in the lobby, which is nice since there seems to be one everywhere these days. I was a bit surprised that the woman who took my order had never heard of a cappuccino before and had to look it up. The room was comfortable, though a little worn and outdated. I understand they can't renovate every year.
Location is good, overall Hotel looks clean but it is a bit outdated and Im a crew member so I'm staying here for work. As well as being a Diamond member who worked at a Hilton property before, I appreciate the front desk adding my honors number to the airline reservation but they should also let me know what perks I get while I'm there instead of me having to search and ask. Also, it's Friday night and I have to be up at 3:45am. People slamming these doors and neighbors being loud is unacceptable. Crew NEEDS to be in higher quieter rooms. Period. I understand it's a weekend and the property might be busy but, you knew we were coming...
This hotel is beautiful and modern, with a great location. The rooms are lovely and comfortable. However, the breakfast experience is quite odd. The waitstaff do not explain how breakfast works or assist guests with seating or service, except when they order an omelet. The breakfast buffet is attractively arranged, but it resembles something you'd find at a standard Hilton on the street. This is a disappointing aspect for such an otherwise impressive hotel.
