Wendy's - Virginia Beach

Today I couldn't get the app to work. So after 10 minutes of trying I went through the drive-through and the manager gave me my free chili as long as I purchased something and I feel much happier it all tasted great. I hope they figure out what's causing that so that it never happens again. I was too hungry and ate my chicken sandwich too fast but I can take a picture of the chili

Maybe it's just been forever since I ate here or they're doing something different, maybe it's this location but the fries were magical! They were thinner crisper than I remember... they stayed hot to the last fry! I was burning my tongue below the halfway point. The double stack was fresh tasty also. Superb job!

As usual the burgers and chicken were excellent. I used the app and everything went smooth. The biggest Wendy's problem is limp, soggy fries. I think their oil is not getting back up to temperature between batches or they make too much and they sit too long. Before Wendy's started their fresh potato fries in the 00s, their fries were awesome and perfect for frosty dipping. Now, it's hard to dip soggy fries in a frosty. Wendy's... fix your fries. If the burgers were not off the charts, my review would be scored lower.
