Tapped Gastropub - Virginia Beach

During the first visit, a groupon had to be used for food. Had the Quesadilla Burger and a Mac and cheese burger, the roasted Mac and cheese, with one side of homemade potato chips and sweet potatoes. Tuesday they have a special drink all day, $3,50 for 10 ounces of beers all day. The bartender, Alyssa, covered all areas by itself and was very nice and accommodating. Not many ppl would agree, but as they smoke a covered veranda section, that was a plus for me, especially when trying different beers. Had a good time and would definitely return.

Lunch. I had the ground Bisonburger and she tried the cook salad with steak and Blu cheese. It was amazing. Both meats where cooked medium rarely. The taste was amazing. You also have a great selection of beers. I'd say a little expensive, but it's worth it.

Even better than usual. Late lunch with my wife and as we often do, we had three items to share. All were new this trio. Fried gouda, nachos and shrimp tacos. Each was excellently prepared and tremendously enjoyable.

In town visiting from NJ. We went to Tapped on Thursday to have a smoke. Had the Buffalo chicken sliders. So good!! Perfect breading and sauced just right with the perfect amount of heat. Came back to Tapped Gastropub today (Friday) for a light lunch. I had THE BEST She Crab soup and Blackened Tuna Bites. INSANE. No pics because I inhaled it. Hubby had this wrap with grilled chicken, jalapeño mac cheese and cheddar jack. DELICIOUS! They had a beer and shot special. Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro Jose Cuervo Gold shot. And my stick, Java Mint. Bartender made nice recommendations and was a great guy all around. A nice way to spend a brisk afternoon. I'll be back when I return to VA Beach!

Delicious food and generous portions. Wow we had the best meal in years with this common and wonderful service. We'll tell everyone.
