Ocean House Waterfront Seafood

The restaurant staff were unhelpful and lacked knowledge. It took a long time to receive our order, especially considering the high prices. The lobster was overcooked and dry. The drinks were mediocre and not noteworthy. The atmosphere was average, nothing special. There are definitely better dining options available.

I stopped by for lunch and the pound of shrimp was a great size and very tasty. Unfortunately, my crab legs were missing a few clusters, but at least they were seasoned well. It reminded me of a wing joint (I think it's Dirty B's) that offers broken wings at a lower price. Overall, the meal was good! ?????

The restaurant offers lovely outdoor dining with a view of Virginia Beach. They also have indoor seating with air conditioning. Don't miss out on their delicious she crab soup and the amazing scallop scampi! It was fantastic.

My man and I stopped the other night here to get an adult drink as it was right next to our hotel. it was late in the night, and we expressly said that the person who sat us, we came only to get a drink. we waited for a few minutes before someone came to our table, once again we told the person that we wanted to order only an adult drink. we ordered one of those ice cream drinks we felt as if it were a bit off. next, I know that a series of hush puppies comes to the table. we thought they were free, so we didn't say anything. when our bill arrived, there is a complaint for the hush puppy. I contested the attack and they removed it. I don't understand how our server hush puppies ordered. the word hush puppies never came out of our mouth, we were very clear that we wanted only an adult drink.

We were first-time visitors to Virginia Beach and arrived much later than expected, feeling very hungry. This restaurant was only a 4-minute walk from our hotel, so we decided to give it a try based on the reviews we had read. I ordered the shrimp cocktail, which turned out to be more like steamed shrimp that were already peeled and served with a delicious buttery Old Bay seasoning and cocktail sauce on the side. It was absolutely delicious! My son enjoyed the fish and chips, with the fries being fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. The fish was not battered heavily, which I appreciated, as it was lightly coated in peppered flour and then pan-seared. While some of the menu items were on the pricey side, there were also affordable options available. We plan to return during our 5-night stay, as the portions are quite generous. Be sure to check out the menu before going, as there may be some more budget-friendly choices available.
