Daves Bbq - Virginia Beach

Amazing is all I can say! I’m not a big BBQ person, but this has changed my views! Food was excellent, service was great and atmosphere is your typical BBQ place. We got the smoked chicken, smoked brisket and smoked chicken salad. You can’t go wrong with anything! Highly recommend!Food: 5/5

I had read about this place in the newspaper a few years ago but somehow never found myself in the right part of the city at the right time of day until this week.Not everyone will enjoy the dining experience here, but if you believe that the true barbecue experience involves eating outdoors at picnic tables and people who clearly put far more effort into making the food good than making the place pretty then this place is for you.

Saw a guy review this place on Instagram, so when my boyfriend and I visited VA we came here. This BBQ was absolutely delicious! The sides were amazing as well, we got baked beans, slaw, and potato salad. The brisket is the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely return when we come back to Virginia Beach!Food: 5/5

6/4/23 date of visit. First of all, this place gets five stars automatically for being open 7 days a week. Post covid, it is hard to find a lot of non chain restaurants open on Sundays. This was my first visit. Spot is not visible from the street, but their IG page gives great directions. I decided to try brisket, baked beans and potatoe salad. Less than $20 which I felt was a fair price. The brisket was moist and I enjoyed the potato salad. The baked beans are a delight. I only saw one gentleman working on the inside and he was very kind to me.

Brisket is good, sandwich’s are plentiful , was suppose to make it a meal , I got potato salad as my side and orange crush as my drink… my to go bag had no drink… went back into the store to get my orange crush and the guy said it wasn’t rang up with the MEAL DEAL 1side and drink… 0 for customer service.. spent 49$ and got nothing to drink.. gonna be looking elsewhere for bbq for leaving customers thirsty.
