Back Bay Gourmet - Virginia Beach

The manager was really rude to me. Didn't want me sitting at a table to drink a glass of H2o. I drank one glass but they wouldn't give me a 2nd one. I was going to order something from the bakery,(after she told me she had one) and she wouldnt even let me give her my business. All she said is the waitress makes money off this table! Ok, I guess she won't make any money ? since the mgr was so very Rude and asked me to leave, which I gladly did. : )The waitress was nice though. Sorry I will never bring my friends or family to this place Ever.Very dark energy here. Over a beverage! So very sad to witness such ugliness.The Light Always prevails!

Not only is the food amazing, the staff superlative but you can spend a lot of in the eclectic store!

I really wanted to like this place but nope. The mimosa event was a nice thought, but when it’s crowded and only one person is allowed to serve the mimosa, you’re sitting there forever. Meanwhile, we ordered and two groups who were seated after us got their food and left before we were even served. To top it off, our bill was incorrect. They have a 90 minute table limit, which is fine, but how can you enforce it when the service is terribly slow? I’ll sum it up with one word: disappointed.

The Power Salad was amazing! Perfectly seasoned seared shrimp! The citrus dressing was delightful and I purchased a bottle as well! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be dining here in the very near future.

Great atmosphere! GREAT food! Quality food and always fresh produce. You can tell that the owners and management strive for excellence! The staff is kind, friendly, and quick to help. It’s my favorite restaurant in VB!Kid-friendliness: Available kids menus, high chairs, crayons, and kind staff.
