Great food and friendly people. the wood is by far an excellent place to dune! the fantastic breakfast item is delicious or a great lunch menu or maybe a delicious dinner! there is no better place in the roanoke valley! eating is great, the prices are fair and the people there are like family! faster service and some of the best food they ever tasted! but please warn. this place is habit to form! so good! I've been eating there for years. the owner,keith and his side kick joe are the best! the waitress is like family! They ask for him and they have it! wow!

Home Cooking at it 's best. The Dogwood Restaurant has been a part of my dining life since I came to Vinton at the age of 7. I was first introduced for breakfast. The breakfast foods are created with a country cook in mind. Lunch is excellent from their daily specials to the constant menu items. If you are really concerned about cholesterol this is NOT a place for you. Cindy who is the main Back Room Chef must have come from the same mold my mother and grandmother 's came from. That was the best sound! they get in before they get busy because they are amazing and will inevitably fill quickly for lunch. I've been working the street for 10 days and since my first visit no lunch missed.

Eating was great, but it seems as if the server worked more than the cooks we waited for a long time to eat, and one of the chefs seemed more enthusiastic to talk to his friends than to finish our order
