L'Ancien Chablis Restaurant

My wife and I recently ate on the outdoor terrace and, while the service was decent and the portions were large, and the food was quite good, we couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed overall. The lack of attention to detail was evident: there were no tablecloths on the outdoor tables, the parasols were only partially open and obstructed by the neighboring table, wine was spilled on the outside of my glass, and we had to ask multiple times for water. This restaurant has the potential to be much better. Our previous experience dining indoors during the winter months was significantly better, so perhaps it was just an off night. We will give it another try in a few months.

I celebrated my 60th anniversary dinner at this restaurant and we reserved the entire space. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. I have been back many times since then. I particularly enjoy sitting on the terrace during the summer.

Small typical French Restaurant in Saint Lamber, Montreal. Interesting menu offering items not often seen in other Restaurants like veal kidneys, veal liver, roasted scallops, etc. Well prepared food and tasty. Very nice restaurant, good atmosphere and ambiance. Located on quiet street, dining outside is available.Will definitely return.
