Bidra med feedbackDrove with family from Brooklyn to Garden City to try this place because it looked nice on the outside. I thought it was a full italian restaurant but discovered it was just pizza. We decided to stay anyway, but the food was just gross. My sister got a meatball parm hero. It was brought to the table obviously black and charred. I asked for chicken parm with ziti, which they made, but the breaded chicken underneath the sauce was soggy wet as if dipped it water with canned sauce put on top. The ziti was lousy. I ordered hot garlic bread, it was a thin small long breadstick with wet cold smeared margarine. A glass of Coke, a cannoli and coffee. The bill was $50, with a suggested gratuity of $9 printed on the check. A glass of Coke $3.50, 1 cup coffee $3.50, the garlic bread $7, cannoli $12. The waiter had a high and mighty air about him, as if he was doing us a favor by letting us eat there. Definitely disappointing and insulting to customers. The only thing done right was the whole check was canceled after I complained, but it was cleared with resentment. Took my family to Rosa 's in Middle Village, Queens and got this lovely, well-done chicken parm dinner with ziti for so much less! Crispy breaded chicken, hot, melted parm and ziti was on point! I thought Grimaldi 's in Garden City was going to be upscale, but it was so not. And the cannoli shell was not even filled all the way.See Rosa 's below!
This is not like the one in Brooklyn. They have specials there, that change, this one doesn't. I feel in LI there are better, but haven't found as of yet.
Service Atmosphere was outstanding.Food was not as tasty as it used to be. Last time we were there was in 2019. Caesar Salad was great but missing some cheese flavor. Sauce was tasteless on both pizza pasta.
Great Pizza, great atmosphere and wonderful service. You won't be disappointed.
It's one of the best Intalian restaurants since I visited in 2015. Please book your table at the weekend.
