De las pocas opciones para comer en la isla fuimos a este restaurante siguiendo los comentarios que en general era positivos. Fue un acierto!! El restaurante está detrás del camping y es pequeño aunque tiene una terraza donde estuvimos de maravilla. La carta es corta pero todo lo que comimos fue de calidad. Pulpo en caldeirada (muuuy bueno), la tortilla buena pero mas normalita y un lenguado a la plancha que estaba también muy rico. Con cervezas, refresco y cafés 60€. Merece la pena puesto que está muy bien, y la calidad de la comida es buena. No cogen reserva, la cocina comienza a las 13:30h. Los camareros fueron muy amables y atentos. Ojo a licor de café riiiiico!!! O campeón!!!
The restaurant offers a simple menu, with tasty food but it is far from being impressive. The service is quite good, however, not so fast in the busy days. Plan your visit in advance and make a reservation. Also, try to avoid going there near the closing time, as some of the items in the menu may not be available anymore
Having looked at the options and reviews for lunch on the Island, Serafin was the obvious choice. They don´t take bookings and start serving food at 13h30 so I strongly recommend to show up at 13/13h15 to get a table and a drink before the kitchen opens. The queue at 14h was huge ! Food wise, the best option is a fresh grilled fish, which was very tasty. If you don´t expect all the trimings from a gourmet restaurant, you won´t be disapointed at all. The staff was very efficient and friendly. Having checked before if they accepted cards, their visa machine was broken so we were facing the option of no lunch at all, having just 5 eur in cash. The lady was very nice and offered us to pay by bank transfer, a life saving proposition ! Price wise, it´s good value : 57 eur for lubina beef rib salad, pint of beer and a juice, and a bottle of white wine. Location and the view are fantastic !
We had to be there early 13.30 hours but no problem....friendly staff and decent honest food. Nice salad, fried gallos and a fresh Lubina del mar. Cooled down with a cold nice Albarino.....
