Bidra med feedbackI attended a business meeting/seminar at the hotel today. They have very good business accommodation with numerous suites to suit all sizes. For our needs we didn't require teas or coffees as it was short. They didn't provide water which they could have. Also city centre parking is a night mare!! The gym is on the same floor (2) and there's a pool!!
Room isn't the room we booked went to complain and all that was done was pushed two single beds together baring in mind I'm 6 months pregnant and woke up in agony really unimpressed so not worth the money and the smell in the room is vile won't be staying again not worth anything here
What We Liked: The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised to find Belfast bustling with activity on a Monday night. Additionally, our room had been set up perfectly for our group, complete with the sofa bed and cots already made. On a small note, the room featured a nicely sized refrigerator, which was a great touch. What We Didn't Like: The taxi situation was a bit inconvenient. Unlike in many cities where you can easily hail a cab from the street, here you’ll need to plan ahead and ask the hotel to arrange one for you. Fortunately, they arrive fairly quickly, but it’s still wise to allow plenty of time. What We Disliked: The one negative aspect was the steak and chips we ordered from room service. The meat was tough and overcooked. I know, I know—ordering a steak at a hotel can be hit or miss, and unfortunately, this was a miss.
I visited this restaurant in the past for Christmas dinners when it was still the old Holiday Inn, so I was curious to see what has changed since it became part of the Clayton Hotel group. Honestly, not much seems different. I attended a charity event there, which was a dance competition, and found the venue to be very well organized and nicely arranged. The bar staff were prompt and attentive, offering alternatives when they didn't have a specific beer brand in stock. There was no issue with queuing at the bar, and I appreciated the nice touch of a red carpet at the entrance (I'm going to assume it was laid out just for me). Overall, it's a conveniently located hotel.
We originally planned to stay here in April, but due to Covid-19 and the possibility of travel bans, we had to cancel our trip. To save a bit of money, we had chosen the non-refundable payment option. The Clayton hotel was not obligated to refund us, yet they still did, which speaks volumes about their business practices and is greatly appreciated. A special thanks to Dean for his assistance and to the whole hotel team. We look forward to booking our stay here again when we reschedule our trip.
