Bidra med feedbackMartin's in Midtown was a pleasant surprise lunch break on the way back to Dallas. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly and attentive. Our party of five samples the Cuban and grilled pimento/tomato sandwiches; the seafood, cola, peas and potato salads; the Rotel Cheddar and creamy tomatoes basil; And the carrot and chocolate peanut butter and fret cake. All these were delicious... highly recommend this easily accessible place of I-20.
I love Martins at Midtown! Sandwiches are great, and so are their soups! They also offer a lot more than food, like wine and beer tastings.
The sandwiches have too much cheese, so they tend to get a little soggy and greasy when grilled. However, the soup is always good (especially the smoked Gouda soup), and they have the largest selection of wine and beer of any casual dining restaurant in town.
Fortunate Stop. This is my first and only review on this site. That's how impressed I was with this place. On our way back to Texas from Florida, we stopped in Vicksburg for the night and wanted to eat anything other than fast food. We blindly stumbled upon this place and everything was awesome. The food was delicious, the people are friendly, the beer selection is simple but interesting, the patio is comfortable and pleasant and the guitarist/singer was phenomenal. It had been a long day and this was a great way to finish it. Highly recommended!
YUMMY. Great sandwhich place.. awesome coleslaw... threw us in the back with chairs still on all the tables and it took a while for food but it was worth it...
