The Italian Kitchen - Vernon

Came with my family to the Italian cuisine. Not only was the service amazing, but I also found that there was something for everyone. amazing gluten free and vegetarian options and to complete it all of the cocktails are phenomenal. definitiw the perfect place to bring a date night or a big group. can't wait to come back.

No. hot inside then outside. great tasting. but they will wait about an hour for their escape and there were no appetizers in between. the waiting time to get their bill is another 40 minutes. I propose to get the waitress kimberly or not to get it.

Excluded from the decreasing quality in the Italian kitchen. I'm a Vernon-habitant eating here since my childhood and eating was always extraordinary. I was with my family a few days ago and was very disappointed. we ordered mosquitoes in the white wine sauce and a full 1/4 of the mosquitoes we received were dead. for my main I ordered the gonzola gnocchi and I was not impressed. not only there was almost a complete lack of gorgonzola in the sauce, but it was crowded with huge pieces of parmesan, it became a completely different dish from what was described on the menu. I hate to say it, but after 20 years back to the Italian kitchen in vernon I think twice before I get back.

This was my third time in this restaurant and as in previous places it was fabulous to eat. the only disadvantage was that the crabcakes were a bit too spicy for my daughter, but that is not the fault of the restaurant, but their personal preference. Rhe prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. very recommended for pasta lovers especially.

I have never been a patron at IK for the 11 or more years I’ve been in Vernon, on account of the menu being fairly basic. Laurel and Chef Remy are definitely making great changes for the better bringing the restaurant/food/service into contemporary times. Nice cocktails, and great food. Might become one of my new hangs…
