Maciano's Pizza Pastaria - Vernon Hills

Based on the reviews, I decided to order a pizza from Maciano’s in Vernon Hills. The pizza was very good, however I was not impressed when I entered the restaurant. The rug was filthy, the catering menus on display were sticky and torn, and the trash can and surrounding area looked dirty. It would only take someone five minutes to make this area sparkle. Managers, please take note. Some customers like me worry the kitchen is dirty if the entry area looks unkempt.

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT and Customer Service! I ordered from here nearly EVERY Friday night same order. Well one night my husband picked up the order and it was wrong. Asked for pizza well done and light cheese and it was the opposite. Now no big deal but we called to let them know. They offered to bring out a new pizza (which was super nice). Well they bring out the new pizza and DEMANDED the wrong one (acted like we were lying). Well after calling the restaurant to inform of them of this extremely rude and strange encounter with their delivery driver we find out the General Manager was the driver!!!! First, who demands food back!?? And to make it even worse the guy couldn’t even say “sorry”! Will NEVER order from there again and will make sure to tell others of my experience!!

Again, another great lunch affair! This time I tried the chopped salad with chicken. It came with 2 nice sized pieces of garlic bread which was generously doused with garlic butter oil? Best chicken salad ever! Only thing ask for salad dressing on the side in case you want to take it home so it doesn't get soggy! Also can't forget the minestrone soup! Omg, very healthy tasting with lots of cut up veggies! Of course, there's the deep dish pepperoni pizza my hubby ordered. Can't beat the perfectly baked crust and lots of yummy tomatoes!

Amaizing place, realy nice for a date, perfect for a business discussion and cozy for any reason. Food taste delicious and the staff is realy friendly willing to help with anything you might need. Great place, it was a pleasure and all the best!
