Red Room Cafe - Ventnor City

Picked up their “famous” egg plant park that’s always out of stock at the farmers market and a pint of vodka sauce. Why do I get home to taste everything, and I get raw tomato? As a chef I feel so disappointed you believed it was okay to put in tomatoes from the can in both of these items without cooking them. What kind of Italian establishment doesn’t know to cook tomato sauce for a long time over a low flame. Are you that behind on your production you’d rather serve raw tomato from a can?

They have a “Take-out pizza panini” menu. Yet, when you call for take out, they say no, we don’t do takeout. ?

Tried to order takeout and was told the kitchen is closing soon. It's either closed or not. Would love for someone to explain that to me.

The food was excellent and the people were very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back!
