Bidra med feedbackWe arrived late in the afternoon in the basilika san marco and decided to cool with wein and eis, which are quite good and the intention is fantastic at sunset. it is certainly a more expensive place, but it is recommended for our opinion!
Creative and interesting aperitivo dishes to go with cocktails. Definitely on the pricier end, but I’d recommend it over other places in the piazza.
Warm welcome, good service. Nice decor. Excellent hot chocolate. The prices are obviously high but it is an institution, the equivalent of the Café de la Paix in Paris. They nevertheless remain less expensive than the other legendary cafés on the place.
Lovely café decorated in 18th century style, with lovely views over the more picturesque side of St. Mark's Square. Much superior in my opinion to the Florian café which is located just opposite, which has a less beautiful view, which is perpetually bombarded with tourists, and where everything is more expensive. My advice to travelers passing through is therefore to favor the Quadri, at least as far as coffee and chocolate are concerned. In this regard, the Quadri offers one of the best hot chocolates in Venice (in winter season only). Unlike other cafes which serve you either dull powdered chocolate, or chocolate drowned in hot milk, at Quadri we have the good taste to bring you almost pure melted chocolate, and, on the side, for those who wish, hot milk. This is very clever, because it allows true chocolate lovers to fully enjoy the power of cocoa. In short, professional chocolate! Count 12 euros for chocolate without cream, and 14 with it (but in this case, we have a little less chocolate). The servers are quite friendly and efficient. In short, a great experience. Expensive, sure, but worth it if you know what to expect. In this regard, the menu is clearly displayed at the entrance, which is not the case with all the other historic cafés on St. Mark's Square. For all these reasons, I rate Quadri favorably. I haven't tried the food, because there are restaurants for that... But reading the other reviews, I tell myself that I may have been wrong not to try...
Had probably the best pistachio croissant I had in italy! So light and fresh. Great coffee
