So sorry for Antonio, the owner, but this place is not worth the visit anymore. Small portions, under average quality and horrible horrible service. So many good alternatives around. Avoid Mamitas.
We decided to try this place for lunch and were impressed with their menu. We split an appetizer called parmigiana. It was a pesto made from eggplant with burrata cream on top and laced with tomato sauce. It was spectacular. My wife ordered spghetto ale vongole veraci. It has a light sauce of oil and butter. I ordered cavatello allo scolio di mari. It was cavatelle pasta with a mix of seafood including, langoustine, clams, mussels, and calamari in a light red sauce perfect for dipping their crusty bread. We loved it so much we went back for dinner. I ordered the eggplant parmesan and my wife ordered stuffed mussels. We shared a mixed salad. And ordered a parmigiana each. it was so good we didn't want to share it again. We shared a bodetto alla vastese. It was a giant bowl of seafood soup that camed to the table in a large clay pot and was still boiling. It was unbelievably good. It was perfect to dip their bread in. This is a do over. Alloggiando a vasto marina ci siamo andati più volte, location carina, buon servizio, ottima pizza e discreti cocktail a euro, buoni gli antipasti di pesce, da migliorare i primi (cavatelli con ragu di crostacei troppo sugosi e non mi piaceva l’odore dei gamberi, ma forse il lunedi non è il giorno giusto per il pesce fresco!risotto al nero di seppia bello ma non buonissimo . Ottimo dessert! Nel complesso lo consiglio anche perché purtroppo non abbiamo trovato molto di meglio in zona
