Order at the bar, good wine list, inexpensive lunch spot. Great outside seating in Summer!

We visited this place today for lunch with my little family. So, my high score is only because the food.Highly recommended if you have plans to visit Vashon Island. ??

We always love the food at the sandpiper. Last Thurs 3 of us had the coconut shrimp and all of them were way over cooked, it was disappointing. The coconut shrimp has always been terrific! Also we love their coleslaw but not this time, no flavor and felt that it was a different recipe

Burgers are great. Fried stuff is not crispy and the oil used for deep frying tasted a bit oldThere is no wait staff which is a major pain. You have to stand in line and order. But once the order is in delivery was quick. Martini was watery. Beer was fine.
