Bidra med feedbackLove the food and atmosphere. Great service always. I've been there many times and will continue to return. Really good Lamb Chops too.
My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for dinner on a Thursday night after a friend recommended the Roast Lamb. We enjoy dining at a Greek restaurant we love and wanted to try this place out. The restaurant was busy, and we waited at the door for 5 minutes before deciding to seat ourselves. Once a server noticed us, the night greatly improved. She was friendly and attentive despite being very busy. We ordered the saganaki appetizer, which was incredible and reasonably priced. For our main course, we both ordered the Roast Lamb dinner, which came with Greek salad and roast potatoes. I was disappointed that it didn't come with rice or tzatziki, but I ordered a small side of each. The additional sides were fairly inexpensive. The dinner was delicious, and the portions were generous. Overall, I was very impressed and will definitely be returning.
A lovely atmosphere during a storm. This place is perfect for dinner during a rainstorm of the kind all too frequent in Vancouver--the lighting and colors are so warm, and it's lovely to look out the window at the rain beating down on Main St. The food is reasonably priced family fare. I had the pulled lamb pasta and the only thing I didn't like about it was that it was merely warm, not hot, as if perhaps it had sat for a few minutes waiting for my companion's meal to be ready. It certainly wasn't cold, but I like my pasta a little hotter than it was. Attentive but low-key service fit my mood to a T.
With dim lighting and live music, it's easy to understand if you've mistaken The Main for a lounge or a pub. Rest assured though, it's not. This local South Main restaurant is a mainstay of this neighbourhood and will continue to be for years. View Larger
