Bidra med feedbackI have been to these Cafe a few times. Good Food and Nice place. Never disappoint us. French Toast and Clam Chowder are must try .
I went for high tea and had a lovely meal. The savory canapes were excellent. I especially loved the shrimp cocktail, roasted stuffed mushroom as well as scallop and lobster bites. The prosciutto and asparagus were nice. The tomato on the caprese tomato appetizer had...little to no flavor but the balsamic reduction was very, very good. The sweets were also delicious and i especially liked the cream puff. I am perhaps unusual in that I am more concerned about the tea then the sweet treats. I had never had Kusmi tea and was unsure about the brand. I was hoping for Lapsang souchong but they did not have smokey teas available. After a consultation with staff i choose the Russian morning tea which was a blend of ceylon and china black tea. It was excellent. The tea was served in a clear tea pot over a warming candle with beautiful china cups. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They answered all my questions and I had a nice conversation with the young lady behind the counter. Overall Soffee Cafe was a great experience. Wonderful tea, lovely atmosphere, nice staff and excellent canapes.
We visited this place because it served tea and lunch. They also do more formal Teas if desired. However, you can go in and just order tea and their delicious desserts. We had freshly baked blueberry scones with house made fruit tea. Delicious! A great...lunch is also served. They have an affordable menu with great lunch choices. It is a perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon (in our case it was raining). It is beautifully decorated and fit my wish to have Tea The owners, mother and son, are friendly, helpful and professional. The son was our server and we couldn't have asked for anyone better to serve us!
An intimate and cozy gem of a salon that transports you to France. We had a small high tea wedding shower where the staff were able to accommodate and remember our different dietary needs. The food was delectable. The service was friendly, warm, and genuine....Attention to detail from each sweet or savory morsel to the pillow cushions. We left full and full of praise.
An unexpected find on West Avenue just east of Granville Street. I say unexpected, as we only discovered it because there were no parking spaces in front of the Desseres Art store on West Broadway, and we ended up parking on Avenue instead....Otherwise we would hardly have stumbled on this place. Soffee Cafe is kind of a mini Mozart Konditorei (for those who still remember this place). Our first visit was for coffee and dessert. Let’s just say, we were impressed by the fancy decor and the desserts. One wouldn’t hesitate to take guests there. On our second visit we tried some of the lunch eatables. I had the Grilled Cheese Panini and added a cup of Vegetable soup. My wife went for the Roasted Pulled Chicken and also added a cup of soup. These Paninis are certainly up to our high standards (standards set by the sandwiches at Terra Breads and Harvest Deli). Prices might be a bit higher, but then you are paying for the ambience. Of course, we will go again—there are some crepes to try.
