Bidra med feedbackThe food at this restaurant was incredible! We got 4 entrees and each one of them were sooo good!! Would’ve been a 5-star experience hands down if the servers had not tried to hurry us up because they closed at 9p. We got there at 8:25p and there was plenty of time for us to eat in peace without having to be rushed. This is the first restaurant I have ever been to where the staff kept coming to the table asking to clear the dishes because they close at 9p. By 9p we were done paying and had to leave because they were in a hurry to close.
Nothing like a meal at my fave Thai restaurant, Sawasdee. Ordered a few dishes and everything was so flavourful and on point. Order the garlic pork vs the beef. Each dish was about $17-20 each. Service was friendly, courteous and quick. Call for reservations as this place is buzzing!
This restaurant in Vancouver is a fantastic place for Thai cuisine! I highly suggest trying the crying tiger beef ($18). The beef is cooked perfectly and is incredibly tender. The herb vinaigrette pairs perfectly with the marinated grilled beef. The Pad Thai with tamarind sauce ($16) was outstanding, featuring large prawns and packed with flavor. The yellow curry with chicken ($17) was also delicious, especially when paired with rice.
The service at this restaurant is very friendly and the ambiance is good. Our group enjoyed the stuffed fried chicken, tom yum soup with shrimp, green curry with chicken, coconut rice, and highly recommended crying tiger beef.
Fantastic food and service. The staff is extremely kind, and the experience is authentic at it’s core. I highly recommend the purple dumplings. After living in Thailand, I’m surprised I never came across them before, so I expect they are quite unique to this restaurant. Also unique was the style of the Pad Kra Pao- it’s usually minced but it was served in whole pieces and a delight nonetheless. A must try for Thai food lovers looking for a refreshing twist!
