Off The Grid Waffle Cafe - Vancouver

The food is decent at this restaurant. It is much cheaper than other restaurants on Main Street or Commercial Drive in the area. It has more of a breakfast or brunch vibe. However, it is a bit of a distance from public transportation. Despite that, I can see why people enjoy this charming small business.

The chicken was amazing, cooked to perfection. The waffles were good but nothing exceptional. The mac and cheese was disappointingly dry and lacked creaminess, giving off the impression it had been left out for too long. The bathroom had a stale cigarette odor, which was off-putting. I would return for the chicken, but would prefer to take it to go next time.

What a great place! Lots of yummy food that the kids just loved (me too ? . The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. My only issue is the waffles are a bit thin and I was hoping to really get the crispy outside and fluffy inside with my fried chicken. The waffles with desert are great! Will visit again.

The atmosphere at this cafe is fantastic! I could just order a shake and be content sitting here. The staff is also very friendly. The shake tastes even better than I expected. Before coming here, I had imagined it to be like another cafe called cafe, but it's actually quite different, although still close by. This doesn't mean it's bad, just not exactly what I had in mind.

Find plastic in my drink :(Went there and order two shakes today.One with waffle topping and one without.The girl working there was very nice. The drinks taste creamy. However, there was a plastic in my drink. I don't feel comfortable when I found it in my mouth.And my strawberry drink with topping, it's $10 plus tips. The price is a bit too much compared with the quality.
