I just want to write about it. When I asked about another, I was treated without the double order of Mayo as if I were from Mars and had no idea how to make a grilled cheese. They finally brought me a new one and I realized why they added the Mayo. The cheese they used tasted like hot garbage. I have given this place so many opportunities because the building is picturesque and the location is convenient, but it is not disappointed. never again.
My wife and I were in a nearby hotel. We decided to give this place a try for our light breakfast, and it was good enough that we came back the next day. The staff was friendly, drinks were good and the food was delicious.
Under the new management, Cittadella is not what it used to be. The atmosphere is less welcoming, the coffee drinks are more expensive than any other café shop in the city, and now they serve alcohol specialities that approves the image of the beauty of a...Heritage building. They play terrible teen music loud, It may now also be a sports bar with TV screens, I was a more regular as it read my favorite coffee spot and do my work, but I assume over time things change for the worse. They really lowered their standards,
Excellent service. Love the coffee and food. Beautiful ambience in an old house with tables on the upper floor, on the ground floor and in the outdoor garden. Best kept secret in Vancouver for a nice place to relax. I like the new soup this week cured chicken with other... subtle flavors.
We had a family break at Caffe Cittadella. The building is very attractive and the staff are charming. The prices are amazingly reasonable for the quality of food and drinks. Thank goodness this building was saved you can see the history of the near...loss in the newspaper cuttings on the walls. We will return!
