Le Clos des Bruyeres

Having headed towards Vallon Pont D'arc quite late on a Sunday evening we stumbled across Le Clos des Bruyeres Hotel, liked the look of the menu and managed to get a table just before the close of service. The escargots were superb as were the main courses (steak tartare and focaccia). The service was friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. Quite a find!

My husband and I were here in the off-season in October when most places were closed in the evening, and we were driving back to our hotel room after seeing the Pont D'arc. We did not expect anything to be open but drove by this place and saw their lights on. I think they normally serve guests of their hotel but they allowed us to eat at the restaurant and we are so happy they did. The waitress was polite and the room was beautiful with candles and a fire in the fireplace. Amazing wine and the food was beyond good. We stayed in the Ardeche and in Paris for our honeymoon and the filet my husband had here was his favorite of our trip. Plates were served with sprigs of lavender. Simply gorgeous and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

We (wife, sister-in-law and I) had visited the Chauvet Caves replica (Pont d'Arc) and drove around the Ardeche late evening 6/22/2015 when the GPS of our rental car provided this restaurant in a very rural area. Food and service were excellent. Great meal. Price was right.

L'ensemble est bien, magnifique piscine, mais le service au restaurant est très long, la terrasse est désagréable pour le bruit trop pres de la route.2 couples une des patronne est charmante

Nous y étions en demi pension avec l'hôtel.Tout est très bon et bien présenté avec toujours une petite touche florale. Serveuse et serveur très professionnels. Service un peu long quand il y a des groupes mais nous étions en vacances donc supportable. ....seul petit bémol assiette et verre ebréchées pas top...
