Good Friends Chinese - Valley Springs

Been coming to good friends for decades. Had been a while but came in picked the first booth in the next room right behind the reception desk the girl comes in with my water as I'm sitting down at the booth and tells me sit here it's closer for me much easier two tables closer she puts my water on that table refusing to put it on the table at the booth. I don't think I'll be going back I thought it was rude I'm 68 years old if I want to sit in a booth then I should be able to sit in a booth, it's not up to them to tell me what table to sit at. Sorry to say you've lost my business after 26 years. And the sad part she never came to the table to check my water while I ate so it was just two tables closer to clear the table when I was done.

The lunch buffet has delicious food, large amount of choices. They have all the standard Chinese dishes, plus more, and above outstanding flavors. I especially loved the jalapeño pork, something new for me. And it was nice ending my meal with green tea ice cream. The waitresses were pleasant and attentive. Very nice place to go with reasonable prices. Parking: One handicap accessible parking spot, need to add about two more. I was in a wheelchair and the one disabled spot was filled. Plus I saw a few elderly eating there so I think they would appreciate easy access. Kid-friendliness: No children on my visit, but I noticed plenty of seating space and a stack of high chairs ready for use. Kid- friendly food choices also. Wheelchair accessibility: Need more wheelchair accessible parking, but I had easy access into the restaurant through double doors. Greeted warmly and seating was roomy. Also, plenty of space to navigate my wheelchair between the rows of food.

This is by far, the best Chinese food restaurant that I've eaten at in the last 25 yrs. The staff is super attentive and they do their best to provide quality assurance. I've never left there hungry and for the amount of food the price can not be beat. They even have ice cream for desert. If you like Chinese food you'll absolutely love this place. Food: 5
