El Tesoro Mazatlan - Vallejo

Was a few times and had great experiences every time in El Tesoro. First and foremost, the owner/operators are always very friendly and personal with the customers. You can definitely say they appreciate you and want to make you happy. Secondly, food is definitely the best in the area. My biggest complaint with similar places is the Salsas lack taste but El Tesoro brings tons taste in all its salsas. In addition, I tried a variety of their menus and found all the dishes to be high quality and delicious! I'm going there to visit visitors from the city.

It's OKAY. Not the best Mexican food in the area but it's fine if you're in the area and craving Mexican food. The sides were cold when our plates arrived. Overall, it's average. Friendly staff and nicely decorated restaurant.

Such a great experience! The staff was so nice, friendly and accommodating. Before we even sat down properly they brought us tortilla chips, which they replenished twice more until the food we ordered arrived. It didn’t even take that long but they brought us chips while we waited for a few minutes. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, with good portions too! The shrimp tacos were so fresh and tasty and quite big as well. The El Tesoro steak taco was also delicious truly comfort food. At the end of our meal they brought us churros on the house which was a really nice treat to end our dinner and very nice of them. Highly recommend this place if you are local or you’re driving by like we did for dinner.

Amazing mission style burritos, churros, and ceviche molcajete. Worth the stop if you're in Vallejo East Bay.

I really enjoy this place. Food is so tasteful. Fish tacos are popular for us. Music plays in the background. The staff is amazing, nice and attentive.
