Bidra med feedbackA very pleasant experience, a spot somewhat remote from anywhere, beautiful setting ion the top of a small hill near Valeeggio sul Mincio. Found it on Osterie d 'Italia, Slow Food , and reserved a table for lunch. Very friendly and when I arived at 12:15, I was among the first guests. A very competent waiter cum sommelier provided helpful advice on the suitable wines to go with the menu degustation . High expectations were based on previous reviews, the beautiful setting and the view of the kitchen with an open fire place/grill . The antipasti consisted of traditional home made pancetta coppice and different varieties fo salumi, accompanied by sottaceti pieces of vegetables in vinegar and a slice of grilled polenta. They were coming with a very drinkable Custoza form the village next doors. After this very nice, if expected antipasto the next course was true to form in the Vallejo nsul Mincio community: A dream of nodi d 'amore love knots literally translated, but unable describe the finesse and subtlety of the ultra fine pasta wrapped around the meat filling in Burro e salvia butter and sage , with a second highlight, involuting prosciutto wrapped in thin layers of pasta and topped with a heavenly concocted sauce of fresh cream and cheese this alone worth the visit! On my stupid question whether the Tortellini were made on site, I was beckoned by the friendly waiter to follow hom through corridors and a courtyard to have a peek to the kitchen, where 4 ladies were in the process of fabricating the nodi d 'amore at incredible speed and perfection so nothing made the day before, everything on the spot literally! The main course, a tagliata on a bed of rocket melted on the tongue, and acccompanying cipollini small onions first steamed in a bit of aceto balsamic, then baked in the oven with olive oil from the lake Garda region and topped with freshly chipped parmesan cheese again stood out as excellent. The Valpolicella coming ith it had no trouble standing upon tothe food, I hasten to say! . The dessert, a heavenly composition of flaky crispy pastry interlaced with a a flufffy, tasty and delicious cream, liberally sprinkled with little mini cones of dark chocolate were enough to open heavens gate for the happy guest. What should be mentioned as well is that this fair excluding the wines came at verx modet price of 35 €, a reason for me to travel the 200 iles or so again in the not too distant future for a repeat experience!
This is a restaurant my family and I have been eating in since a very long time. Today we went there to celebrate our birthday season (4 on 8 of our family members have birthdays in August). It 's a simple restaurant with a large outside garden where you eat during summer season. I took an amazing steak with lots of veggies and my hubby chose the tortellini (always an excellent choice) and another steak. We were extremely satisfied of our meal and we also took deserts ... OMG their Cream is the best! They welcome kids (they also have some animals in the backyard and some books and toys inside) and we always fell at home at Belvedere.
We stumbled on this restaurant in our travels and it was absolutely lovely. We ended up arriving for lunch and we were totally charmed! The kitchen could be clearly seen and it was spotless. We chose to sit outside in the back courtyard and it was an absolute pleasure to enjoy our meal. The service was stellar and the food was amazing. The owner and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and allowed us to while away the early afternoon there. It was not surprising for us to discover that this restaurant had made the Michelin restaurant guide from 2014 all the way through to 2017. Highly recommended. Great food. Great atmosphere. Spectacular!!
Tipica trattoria veronese in splendida posizione sulle colline di santa lucia alle montagne. assaggiare i tortellini: Sono una cosa sublime. la carne alla griglia è loro forte e si conclude con le mille foglie. locale da consigliare.
