Communal - Val-D'Illiez

We stopped here for lunch while on a hike. The service was attentive and the dishes we ordered were amazing! We had two cocottes of seafood and a risotto of red peppers and fresh anchovies. The presentation was lovely and everything delicious! Worth the stop!

What a great evening! We arrived for the first time to the charming and very cosy restaurant, with tastefully chosen background music allowing a normal conversation, serving an absolutely fantastic menu, very good wines, discret, very friendly and attentif staff, that seemed happy to welcome us and to even help us out, if we missed the last train going towards Monthey in the evening. We look forward to enjoy the summer menu.The spring menu we had was made with local produces, I loved particularly enjoyed the 7peak beer (produced in Morgins) risotto with strawberries. Yes, yes, that's what I thought too: beer risotto with strawberries? Believe you me: It was DELICIOUS!!

We stayed at hotel communal for one night with my wife and daughter. The room was very spacious and perfectly suitable for a family. It even had a kitchen in it to warm up the foods for our daughter. The best thing was however the hotel restaurant. We have rarely opportunities to go to "fancy" restaurants and this one just at the ground floor of our hotel. The food is fantastic gourmet food and the wines are perfect. We enjoyed three-course menus and escaped back to the room before our daughter got bored. Perfect. The next day we went to the spa is only a few kilometers away, also very family friendly.

Wir versuchen zwei oder drei Mal im Jahr dorthin zu gehen und wurden bisher noch nie enttäuscht. Die Gerichte sind perfekt zubereitet, die Speisekarte folgt den Jahreszeiten und der italienische Küchenchef verschönert die lokalen Produkte aus dem Tal. Verpassen Sie nicht die hausgemachte Pasta. es ist ein Nebel Aber nicht nur das Essen ist großartig. Es ist auch ein Paradies für Weinliebhaber. . . Scheuen Sie sich nicht, den Eigentümer um Rat zu bitten. Er ist so leidenschaftlich und hat immer einige verborgene Schätze. Ein toller Ort zum übernachten und essen; Verpassen Sie es nicht! ! ! !
