Swiss Chalet - Vail

The restaurant is truly gemütlich and the wooden details reminded us of Switzerland. so did the prices but the veal was chewy and was downed in garlic while the potatoes were oily. Very pretty but it ain‘t Zürich but still offered a nice, if somewhat pricey experience. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 4

Great atmosphere and super friendly staff. Food could honestly be better, kind of tasteless for this price. I have been to Switzerland and I have had Fondue. This is not even close to it. But for Vail it’s a great vibe.

Authentic Swiss experience with good food. The cheese fondue was excellent and on point. Bread could be better though. The escargot was a bit dry. Tartare seasoned heavily. A tad too deep in mustard flavor. Price is . We added truffle and champagne to our fondue. The service was attentive and excellent. Located at the Sonnenalp Hotel. Two hour complimentary valet parking with dining. The decor inside is very cute!
