Mirador Don Roger - Uvita

The food was really good. However, if you’re planning to go for a sunset dinner, our only recommendation would be to go about an hour before the dinner rush and sunset, then enjoy it while eating. Parking was scarce at this time as well. Our reservation was right before sunset. It was really crowded and our dinner ended up taking about 1 1/2 hours to get to us and some food was cold (Although still good).

This place is a real gem! I met some friends for lunch and it was amazing. The expansive seating area has a wonderful view of the whales trail I had the garlic shrimp with fresh veggies and salad. A lot of my friends ordered the fish. Everything was very good!

The view is spectacular and we went twice while in Uvita. We enjoyed the lunch and I would have given this a 5 if our waiter had been more attentive but he wasn’t and we had him both times.

We left because they were unwilling to accommodate our small daughter's fish allergy. They were rude and uninterested in even making us plain pasta for our daughter. The staff are pretentious and only cater to perfect humans with no allergies. Additionally, a local blocked us in our parking spot and was also very rude about our need to get out of the muddy parking lot.

Don Roger was a really nice spot for a sunset dinner. We had the ceviche, the whole fish and the aioli chicken pasta. It was all delicious, especially the fish had a very nice sauce. We also saw a toucan and some monkeys in the parking lot so overall a really nice experience.
