Hangar 6 Air Cafe - Uvalde

On a trip to garner state park and urgently needs a car charger. we found this caffe! which cool place to see airplanes, to learn a little ww2 aerial history, and eat something great. I recommend everyone who visits uvalde.

Came to eat, but got lucky and we were able to tour hanger next door. Now, Chicken Fried Steak with Jalapeño gravy, Bacon Cream Corn, Slaw, and Brewster Buffalo Sandwich were absolutely great! Great staff, too.

Food taste good, we had chicken fried chicken chicken fried steak. Sides made from scratch. They also has EV charger that Tesla can use. Very Good ambiance. Love it

Enjoyable lunch on the patio while the cold front is rolling in back home. So nice to stroll right to the restaurant from the tie-downs. Nice variety of menu items. I opted for the PT-16 salad. It was overloaded with bacon and the grilled chicken was a dry but the green apples and blue cheese were delicious with their vinaigrette and romaine lettuce. Server was pleasant but food took a bit to come out?but our drinks were kept full. Looking forward to coming back to try other items.

This diner is phenomenal. We landed here after a flight from Addison and discovered this wonderful restaurant on airport property. There was a small crowd playing soccer, and a decent amount of other clientele hanging out. We went in and the decorations were great. The menu was extensive and interesting with a ton of options. Unfortunately, i do not have any photos of the food because it was just that good. If you ever find yourself in Uvalde definitely check it out!
