The drinks were served in cans with a cup of ice, which made for a really refreshing experience. The iced tea was delicious—perfectly balanced, not too sweet. As for the food, it exceeded my expectations; everything was really good! I definitely plan to return. The kitchen truly captures that comforting vibe reminiscent of Abuelita's cooking. The restrooms were also well-maintained and spacious, complete with a baby changing table, making it convenient for parents. I believe you won’t be disappointed with your experience here. The prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Give it a try!

I absolutely love dining at this restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Our server, Norma, took great care of us. The food arrived quickly and was fresh. The black bean tadas had the perfect crunch, the beef in the crispy tacos was delicious, and the cheese enchiladas were wonderfully cheesy. The fried beans and rice were well-seasoned, with a rich roasted garlic flavor – honestly, the best rice I've had in Texas! Tomorrow, on May 6, you're celebrating your 87th anniversary, and it’s clear that you know how to do it right. Congratulations! We'll definitely be back soon!

I had lunch at Vasquez, and it was fantastic! I ordered the “Henry,” which was a delicious enchilada combination plate. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Quique, whose grandmother founded the restaurant in 1935. We really enjoyed our visit and learned a lot of fascinating history about his family's restaurant. The service was exceptional as well! Thank you, Zulema! Just a heads up: if you visit, be prepared to wait a few extra minutes, as everything is made in-house, but trust me, it's worth the wait!

Our server was very polite and took good care of us. The soft beef taco plate was amazing. The corn tortillas were so good and everything was high quality and presented well. The refried beans were the best I’ve ever eaten. The restaurant itself was very clean and the restroom sparkled, it was so clean. Beautifully decorated. This was the first time that I’ve been there since the father/grandfather, Henry, passed, but it won’t be the last. Henry would be very proud of their family restaurant!
