Masala Grill - Upminster

I have used the Essex Grill for years, since they opened, takeaway always fab but recently the portion size has dramatically decreased whilst the prices have gone up a lot (I understand cost of living etc) had two takeaways recently and both have been disappointing, not sure if its because we are using just-eat to order but this time £14 for a large donner wrap and it was very small, med lamb shish with veg again £14 very small and a regular donner £9,80 very small, so I think the time has come to find another shop, sadly as food is nice just not value for money any more.

Lovely lamb shish grilled veg and good donner kebabs, lamb is tender and rice is delicious good pots of salad, I love chilli sauce but be warned it is hot it should come with a fireman to put out the heat!

Waited over an hour for food which was cold. I hv an allergy to onions and requested no onions. All orders were covered with them. When phoning spoke to man who was incredibly rude eventually said he wld send new order. Hv bn waiting 2 hrs now no food. Will never use again.

Rude service on the phone when taking my order, completely ignored when i arrived to collect, no thank you for your custom when paying and yes you guessed it when i arrived home part of my order was missing......phoned them back up and was told to come back or get a free bottle of drink next time i ordered. There wont be another time.

Best kebab in town.. mouthwater turkish menu great taste and quality and also worth every penny as its so reasonable .. Serving complimentory pita, wrap, salad, sauce and rice with every meal.. mix grill and full house is the best treat for family
