July 2023This was my 1st time there. So many times, I would drive by, and it was crowded. I threw caution to the wind, I will wait if I must.Parking is ridiculous. There were people parking on the shoulder of the side street road. Handicapped parking, we might as well say, there isn't any. I only say 1 spot. (But could be wrong).The place was bigger than I thought. They, take reservations and you can bring your oen bottle of wine. They have an extremely limited wine list that is only sold by the bottle. Which makes it tough for someone who only wants 1 glass of wine (no other alcoholic drinks are sold there).The food was poor ! The calamari was tough, and the sauce was red water. Nothing had flavor !The dinner was the same. The fish and chips tasted like cardboard. Some ordered chicken strips and got fried breast. The paper on the table was thicker.The service was the only reason it got 2 stars. Everyone went out of their way. They made an intolerable dinner worth it.This olace is an older adults place, although it did have a children's menu.My thought is just to keep on driving.
Been going here for years. For my money yes Seafood is not cheap but they have everything you need and desire. And by far the freshest Seafood ever they are honest and will tell you where it came from Etc they specialize in wild caught fish tuna swordfish and shrimp as big as your hands when in season from the golf. Excellent excellent and the best staff of fishmongers ever hard-working people who know how to cut fish.
One Sunday in late June 2023 I called and asked what time the Restaurant was open until, I was told 8pm. We walked in at 7pm and we were told that they were closing early due to short staff. This is the second time this happened to us which is what prompted me to call to confirm their hours. The first time was during the early spring of 2023. We walked in around 7pm and we were told that they were closing early due to the weather. I doubt that I will give it a third try.
Food was good. My wife had the fried shrimp and I had the Wooley's Pescatore. Both were good. The only criticism I had was that there was no bread served. Especially with the pescatore bread was needed to taste the sauce. Service was great. The waitress was very attentive.
