Bamboo Chef - Udupi

The food is delicious. Please do try it once. The biryani quantity was less but I have still given 5 stars because the food was really tasty. Everything was nice and had a different flavor to it. The starters, main course and desserts were all good. The ambience was good and they also have outdoor seating arrangements.

Restaurant is a bit outside the city. There are no other good restaurants in the area. If you’re in this area, then this is the go-to place. The soup was okay. The bamboo Biryani was average. The chicken manchurian was amazing. Chicken ghee roast was very tasty. I would recommend this place.

Restaurant was really clean and hygienic. The staff were really courteous. I tried chicken biryani combo, mutton biryani combo, mutton paratha combo, beer dosa, chicken Sukha, chicken gassi, choco lava cake and chote chote gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream. Food presentation was really good. I ended up trying only the combos and later on got to know that the restaurant is quite famous for their bamboo biryani. Definitely try that.

Ordered chicken lolipop(tandoori) malai chicken tikka, anjal tawa fry, butter chicken, bhindi curry, half chicken biryani and roti.. all good. Dessert.. chocolate brownish with vanilla ice cream. Very nice.. all in all good, but service is slow..

All food itseems that we ordered were good. Even tried their bamboo chicken biryani. Biryani taste was bit different then all the biryani that you get in other restaurants throughout Udupi and it was good. Extremely polite friendly people. Do try their Bamboo pan kulfi. Will visit again for sure.
