Bidra med feedbackI tried many high-end restaurants in Bali. But this is the one I enjoyed my heart content. Simple and delicious food. Spicey chutney they serve is my favorite
PENYELAMAT (Life-Saver) lol! The only 24 hours Padang food at Ubud and the price is cheap. The limpa is great, as well as the part (prit generous).
Padang is one of the best local food experiences, but logically they are all a bit more expensive around Ubud. Nevertheless: cheaper than the touristic restos and a really enak local food experience.
Good Padang Restaurant, nice people there and the food taste is good
Friendly staff were great with a smile and explaining but since it's 24hours open I think some of the food suffers in tastiness and perhaps safety too as we didn't feel fantastic the next day but as with eating in Bali you never know what causes that. Also everything will be cold if you go at random hours probably stick to lunch time as I assume it's made fresh around that time. Beef rendang was quite dry meat and very salty which was my main gripe. It was also quite pricey at 20k per small piece of beef. Options like jackfruit curry, cassava leaves, eggs, corn fritters, tempe were tasty. For anyone that has never been to a Padang restaurant you get a plate with a portion of rice and stand at the front with the options and tell them everything you want (including if you want sauce from any of the dishes) don't be shy to ask what stuff is and be the one in charge of your yummy custom plate. You pay for each option with meat being quite a bit more expensive than others and sauce usually free. Make sure to get some sambal too. For this plate I paid 55k which isn't very cheap but perhaps Bali standard only had Padang on Java before.
