Southern Classic Fried Chicken - Tyler

Im originally from Louisiana, I drove 80 miles from Dallas thinking the Tyler location would taste great like the Louisiana locations, WRONG! Chicken taste nothing like the other locations, chicken was bland, cajun rice was hard. Yall need to call the manager at the Louisiana locations and copy they recipe

I havent had Southern Classic in over 10 years since I was living in Shreveport. Here visiting Tyler and was excited that there was one here. I figured the place would be busy as it always was. We didnt wait too long for our food and it was hot and fresh. Unfortunately it didnt taste the way it did back in the day. There was this special flavor that chicken had back then that is missing. Nevertheless the chicken still tastes good. I was so hungry I forgot to take good pics before I started eating????

The staff is friendly the service is prompt. Every time we travel through this area we always stop here to feed our craving. The flavor or the chicken is awesome the red beans are very delicious. Just a lil tweaking on the rice as we know it's 1 of those tricky items to cook sometimes leaving it gummy or undercooked yet it can be awesome!. We love this location the staff despite it highly recommend this location if you're looking for consistent flavor each time!

Man I'll eat here whenever I'm in the city. Family wants to eat steaks but I'm getting the best chicken spot Kno to mankind. ????????
