If I could give 0 stars I would , unfortunately Google won’t let me …. When I first moved to Tyler the Peking on 5th was DECENT…. I unfortunately went out to lunch with a friend and we ordered our lunch there today. I only ever get shrimp fried rice and egg rolls at any Asian restaurant, I ordered … my friend had combination lomein and egg foo young .We got our food brought to us DINING IN, it was served to us in take out To-go platters. I proceed to open and taste my food, the rice was undercooked to the point where it was not even consumable … my friend asked me to try her Lo mein , it was greasy and the amount of salt that was on there was UNBEARABLE! Could’ve made her have a stroke as she has high blood pressure , her egg foo young was a black blob of burned egg , and steak with onions piled highWe called over the guy and asked for our food to be remade he told us no we asked for a refund he told us no again ….The egg rolls were not egg rolls but a sheet of spring roll wrapper with an unknown filling no cabbage no onion nothing in middle …. We asked the cook to come sample what we had not touched and he told us he would, but then huddled up with his coworkers and started speaking in Spanish I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE !Because if you don’t want to taste your own food why serve it to others …. HORRIBLE ! What is even the refund policy if any in place ?
The food was cooked in burned grease? Chicken was burned and egg rolls burned and overcooked. Asked for a refund but was told no and then asked for it to be cooked over and was told no again.
Ate two bites and threw it away. Not edible. Sorry.
The service was good and in a decent location. The only problem I had was the amount of entree you get versus the rice. My meal was beef and broccoli, but the beef tasted like old roast beef, and there were a total of five pieces of broccoli.
