Bidra med feedbackWe tried the burgers tonight (carry-out)! We had the carnivore and the blue smoke, and they were delicious! The patties are thick and look homemade, and are very filling! They don’t skimp on the fries, either! Also, the Greek salad and the antipasto salad are delicious and plentiful in size! Their customer service is excellent! The girl at the front desk with short blond hair had terrific customer service! Sorry for the half-eaten burger pictures; I remembered too late to take a photo.
I love this place (since the change in ownership); I 'm not sure what it was like before. Serving staff has always been very friendly, prompt, and courteous. Stephanie is awesome! Pitchers are cheap compared to other places on MCAGCC Twentynine Palms. Atmosphere attempts to be Italian with a Marine flavor which is fun. Prices for entrees are medium to high, but the portion sizes generally cover you for 2-3 meals if you box them to go. The pizza here is the best within 30+ miles! It 's better than Pie for the People if you ask me, and I was born in New York! A great place on base to get away with a group of your peers and enjoy pizza, beer, and camaraderie.
Just get the desserts and skip these three dishes!! I've gotten dessert here twice before, very good! Finally decided and had time to try their hot meals and we were sorely disappointed in what we got tonight!! Chicken Cacciatore, angel hair pasta (yuck no flavor) and their chicken bites were good but a little too salty. The Ravioli cheese (4) for $13.99?? Was not worth it at all, Chef Boyardee canned Ravioli is much better. Their dessert double chocolate was on point as usual though. Staff is great and friendly as usual!
It 's under new management, but don 't let that fool you. It has the BEST fries in Twentynine Palms. Everything else is moderately good for the price. Don 't waste your time with the chicken tenders. They are not actually tenders. They are mechanically and chemically separated chicken byproduct that are reformed into a tender shape. Very similar to a McDonald 's chicken nugget except for the breading, which is much better than McDonald 's. If you do not take my advice and do get the chicken tenders go for the BBQ sauce. It 's delicious. I suspect that it is sweet baby Ray 's. They proudly serve Frank 's Red Hot Sauce. Family of four can dine for around $55-$65.
The waitress was super sweet and a good waitress. The food, we had the chicken Parmigiano was yummy! My daughters had the carnivore pizza and said it was super yummy.
