Kembuz Cafe - Turku

Kind service, lost of Vegan-friendly option and quality coffee and cakes. Will definitely visit again

Got caught in the pouring rain and ducked into this place for a bit of respite from the cold and were met with the loveliest service we came across in Turku (and that's saying something we had great service everywhere in Turku). We were a large group but the staff moved some of the tables to accommodate all of us which was so kind of them. I personally didn't try the food (although it looked amazing) but the coffee is really nice, I tried their cardamom coffee and really liked it!

Best coffee in Turku. Breakfast are just amazing, always fresh and tasty. Nice that it’s also changing from time to time.

This was my secoind visit to Kembuz Cafe and I was not disappoointed. I had the Greek salad and I have never eaten one with so much feta cheese. The salad was a Kembuz interpretation of Greek salad, but a very good one. Do visit this Cafe: it is small and the menu is not huge,but you can rely on having a great tatsy slad which will keep your hunger away for several hours without having the feeling to be stuffed. A big plus also : a very roomy and clean toilert.

The cafe is stylish and cosy the most elegant cafe on Hämeenkatu. They serve decent coffee and a variety of sweet and salty treats, also breakfast and lunch options. Most of what they have is raw food, also a lot of vegetarian/vegan options as well as no wheat or gluten free. And expensive. Portions are also on the small side but on the positive everything is really beautifully served; I had the most beautiful bowl of muesli (or as it is trendily called granola ever. If you want to treat yourself, Kembuz is a great place for it.
