Restaurante Posada Salentein - Tunuyán

Matias of Vitis Travel arranged an asada vineyard luncheon but since not enough other customers, Salentein, cancelled. Matias was very upset but the chef came to apologize and offered to serve us a kitchen prepared asada. It was too hot outside anyway. We happily agreed...to enjoy lunch in their AC restaurant with a view of the vineyards and Andes from their ceiling/floor windows. Delicious food and wine (Salentein is a favorite). The outstanding thing was their dulce de leche lava cake WOW!

The meal is great and comes with a lot of wine. So I will suggest skipping the tasting because it is expensive.

We stayed at Posada Salentein. We ate at the Killka a couple of times. The setting is quiet, peaceful in the vineyards. Food is good. Overall highly recommended.

The salentin vineyards and buildings are just beautiful and this restaurant did not disappoint either! We had the empanadas tasting as a starter and it was just sublime! This was followed by two beautifully cooked steaks with equally delicious sides/toppings. What a lovely meal and...I wish we could have gone back a few more times during our trip. Oh and the wine is just gorgeous.

Food and wine here is wonderful, equal to top class restaurants in major cities, all served with a smile and a warm welcome. We had the menu with matching wines, delicious!
