Bidra med feedbackThis is one of my favorite bakeries in Germany, so it hurts me to write this review, but, in abandoning it, as I was super excited with today's experience. my good friend lives in stuttgart and since the summer before the pandemic I did not visit...for obvious reasons now, as his two years, I came back to visit in the holidays. we traveled the 45-minute trip to tubingten only for this cake. we sat in the morning. my friend who is stationed here has shown her QR code that she was vaccinated, my friend and I (which live in the usa) presented our CD cards. we were told first that we could stay, then it was said that the manager had told our server that we would be afraid that the police would put them into order. while we understand that we are on the move during the pandemic and that the dings are a little surprised, this was the only place where we had this problem. we spent three days in frankfurt and each from server to prahlers to criminal prosecution knew what our cards were. a random place where we stopped was unclear what the cdc card looked and then we all moved on with our lives. While tubing may not have as many international visitors as frankfurt and stuttgart, it is a tourist destination and I am insulted that the due diligence was not even taken. if it had only been I have left without buying anything, bc this is not a place I would have for paragliding, but I told my friend and friend I would treat this component of the day. I assure them, however, that this will be the last bakery visit, I will not be a future customer.
We visited here for coffee and cake (cancake, etc). every day we were in tubingen. baked were over the moon and the staff very friendly and helpful in our attempt to choose between different tasty looking offered. sit both inside and outside. not on one. the places of the city, but a busy pedestrian zone near the bridge over the teasar river. they can see the citizens and students of tubingen stream from.
I was here a few times and had enjoyed my visit so far. they serve many different cakes and the ones I recommend would be the black forest obstkuchen, it is not so sweet, so it is easy. to refine it yourself. I would also recommend her cappuccino. in any case worth visiting if they are a cake lover, because there is only so much cake here that they should try the personal here was always very friendly and helpful every time I visited there.
I had black forest kirschkuchen, which was quite good, not enough to cherry, but enough cherry water (alcohol). freshly squeezed orange juice. very good price, very friendly and efficient. good view of tables on the back.
The medium sized, old established bakery and Konditorei is in a recently refurbished (2013) modern interior. It is modern design at its best. The counter has a sinuously inviting curve with delicious looking and tasting, cakes, tarts, slices, croissants – and all you would expect...in such a place. Brightly but subtly lit, it is immediately inviting. The dark decoration on one wall also indicates a place better than average. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. Our late morning choice was of white asparagus quiche, which was amazingly light and succulent, followed by and equally-good square of rhubarb tart – the rhubarb being uncovered. We had' to go back late afternoon to sample the cakes, which not surprisingly, were excellent. Schwaelderkirsch Fruechte (black-forest fruit slice) and a slice of Spanish almond and lemon cake. Plus coffee, of course. You’ll find it on Neckarstrassse, 16-20, and if you go in and go to the back, you will be looking over the Neckar and the island, with its trees, in the middle of the river. Very relaxing. There may well be others of similar worth – but just in case not, go in here as soon as you see it.
