Jerry Bobs Family - Tucson

We enjoyed some fantastic and authentic food! I had the chilaquiles plate and a waffle, while my husband opted for the tamale breakfast combo. The kids had waffles, biscuits and gravy, and French toast. This has definitely been the best breakfast spot we've discovered during our visits to Tucson to see family!

We went specifically to this location because they serve pata (which is difficult to find in restaurants), it's not on the menu. The red menudo was very tasty! Served with bread, onions and cilantro. The staff is mostly all very welcoming. There was a wait at 7:30am, so get there early! Everyone looked like they loved their food! I was pleased with the horchata and hot chocolate.

Loved seeing a short line out the door on a Friday morning; knew we were at the right place. There was no wait since we sat at the counter and got to watch the plates being sent out of the kitchen. A fruit plate caught my eye looking fantastic. Of course our breakfast was perfect and exactly what we ordered. Staff were so friendly and cheerful I see why locals eat here. Great spot! I love bagel breakfast sandwiches but hate making them at home.

I had the patty melt and it was absolutely amazing! I ordered it to go, and it came with a generous serving of hot, fresh fries. The patty melt had plenty of grilled onions and was a huge portion! I'm really glad I decided to try Jerry Bob's because I haven't had the best experiences at other places in town, but Valencia is fantastic! Everyone was so friendly, and I even saw officers from the sheriff's office there, which is a good sign! Thank you!!

Without a doubt, this is the best Tortilla Soup you'll ever have! The service from Susie was fantastic—thank you, you were amazing! The fruit bowl and Machaca were incredible as well. Our only regret is that we didn’t discover this place sooner! Hiding behind the name Jerry Bobs is one of the best breakfast spots in Tucson. Just a heads up, be prepared for long wait times on the weekends, but it's definitely worth it—promise!
