Food was good that we ordered- but is kitchen area as dirty as dine area and bathroom?! Used to be really clean place with really good food! Please clean the dining area and bathroom!!!! Wow! I've tried this Jack's several times in the last 3 months. It's never been a 4 or 5 star but tonight really was sad. I understand that management can only do so much because at least someone comes in to work. Well tonight I walked in and lately I've been going in to see the condition and how they prepared my food. First the place could be cleaned. Employee (males) need belts. I don't want to see your underwear while you're preparing my food or anyone else's. Black shirts were white with flour as if it was a flour bomb explosion. Then young man preparing has on gloves but every 3 to 5 seconds and I'm not fabricating it he wipes his gloves hands on his shirt or sagging jeans. I said something to him as well as the manager. She explained that he can't do that and change the gloves. Well he changed them and within a minute he was doing it again. Maybe he is unconsciously doing it but you can't. Them he pulls out his cell phone and texts, put it back in his pocket and continues to prepare food. My chicken was in the fryer because I asked for it fresh due to last visit I received dried out chicken for the sandwich. Well I asked for a refund before my chicken was cooked and the manager told me she will make my order once the chicken was done. I know this is long but if you go through the drive thru you have no clue of how your food is prepared. I started going in once I noticed that almost every time you have to pull around and wait. So me being curious I wanted to see the operation. I've been in customer service for over 20 years and this is not even satisfactory if given my opinion. I think training and discipline can help (military veteran speaking) and employees suggestions on what they need/want to improve their customer service and work ethic. I will give Jack's a break for a while hopefully they can get it together. I know they are not Chic fil a but please change.
My experience was eventful. I 'm sitting at the drive-thru order speaker, and I 've been given more than enough time (5+ min) to decide exactly what I 'm going to order. When the drive-thru attendant finally gets the time to ask what I would like without hesitation, I belt it out. Then, as I 'm finishing up, an old lady in her 70s decides to pull up so close to my car that I can 't go forward. She rolls her window down, and I see her look at the menu. I tell myself ok she 's old. I keep my composure. Then, once she apparently had decided what she would like, she pulled ahead of me in the line and, once at the window, told the drive-thru attendant I was blocking the drive-thru. So, the attendant is staring at me out the window like I committed a crime. They take her order and let her know she can pull up so they can get her order ready. She drives all the way around the restraunt and then comes back to the window, waving at the attendant to open her window to ask if her food is ready. All this while I 'm pleading my defense case to the attendant. The attendant tells her to pull up, and they will bring it to her when its ready. She proceeds to pull in front of me again. We are all waiting on those hot fries. I 'm telling the story of what really happened and feeling like I 'm still responsible for the crime I unknowingly committed blocking the menu. Then the lady jumped out of her car. I tell the attendant, She 's coming in. Inside, I heard her telling the manager she thought the car was gone that was blocking the drive thru. She asks if her food is ready. She replies, Ma 'am we are all waiting on fries! We will bring it out to you once your order is ready. After all this crazy I felt like I had won being first to get my food and drive away seeing her in my rearview, still waiting. I guess patience does pay. They are short staffed at this location. Let 's all be civil and be sure to stay in line. No one 's time is more important than anyone else 's.
