Carnon Inn Beefeater - Truro

This Beefeater is appalling. Restaurant Inspectors need to pay a visit! We heard so many complaints about food, service and beer. People were being kept waiting for ages to take their booked table. Some beer was not available. Non smiling, stressed looking staff. This is a very poor experience for people visiting Truro and staying in the Premier Inn. We could not eat here as no table was available but were told we could have a drink if we could find somewhere to sit !! Yet there were empty tables all around. Please improve.

I met my friend for breakfast and the service and food were amazing. The staff were very polite and courteous. Claire was especially friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be going back. The ambiance and warmth made a great start to the weekend. Used this place while staying in the premier inn the service in particular is not good at all was in there earlier today they kept me waiting 15 minutes for a coffee when I reminded the waitress she went and made me one which was cold I got my money back was in there last night kept waiting by the waitresses while they chatted about Christmas trees when I asked one of them for a a drink she tutted at me they just don’t seem to care Food: 3

So, we had mixed reviews on the table for the food. My steak was cooked to perfection, and accompanying items were good; my son 's pizza was burnt, daughter 's sausage and mash was ok , other people 's meals were also hit and miss. However, the staff were lovely, attentive and very welcoming. Could not fault them at all. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options for varying dietary requirements Dietary restrictions: Information readily available in a folder for ant dietary needs. Parking: Absolutely tonnes of parking. Disabled bays were easy to access. Kid-friendliness: Suitable for children as long as you keep an eye on them. Lots of places they could run to and hide if you aren 't careful. Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible, the ramp is a tad steep but manageable.
